Wood-Pressed Groundnut Oil: common questions
Is wood-pressed groundnut oil good for deep frying?
Yes. Groundnut oil has a high smoke point, so it handles deep frying well. Customers use it for vadai, bajji and pakoras.
Why does it smell stronger than supermarket oil?
Refined oil is deodorised to remove its smell. Our oil is not refined, so it keeps the natural aroma of groundnuts.
Which size should I buy?
Start with 500 ml or 1 L to try it. If you fry often or cook for a large household, the 2 L and 5 L packs work out better.
